13.0 Projects and Installations

13.1 Lead Times
WF Education has standard approximate lead times associated with delivering installation and fit-out projects.
13.1.1 UK – Lead time is specific to each project and dependent on the time of year and the materials and equipment being ordered and installed. They are always estimated, and we cannot be held liable if there are changes to these estimates. The approximate lead time to deliver a project is 8 – 12 weeks, dependent on the nature of the project.
13.1.2 International – Lead time for international projects will vary depending on location, nature of the project, and shipping times. Installation and commissioning of the equipment can be up to 4 weeks after the equipment has been delivered to the site.

13.2 Payment Terms
For projects, payment terms are agreed per customer project. As an illustration, where credit facilities aren’t granted standard payment terms are 60% on order, 30% before shipping, and 10% on installation of the value of the order.

13.3 Pre-Delivery and Installation
13.3.1 Main contract discount
WF Education Group does not pay a Main Contractor’s Discount unless specifically itemised separately within our quotation. Should a quotation be passed through a building contractor to process, then adjustments may need to be made to the quotation to accommodate for their Discount, Profit, and Attendances.

13.3.2 Site conditions
WF Education is a fit-out trade and will provide its services once the project is at a fit-out stage. Raised floors and suspended ceilings (If applicable) completed, distribution of mechanical and electrical services, and Internal surfaces finishes are completed. External hard standing is required for the delivery of equipment into the building. Any additional costs which arise because of the building not being at this stage will be chargeable.

13.3.3 M&E
WF Education requires all the relevant services live, commissioned, and in the correct positions (no further than 1.5M from the final position of the machine) with the suitable isolators/sockets fitted as specified in the M&E drawings. Side-benching for bench-mounted equipment, if applicable must be in place, complete, and to the dimensions specified.

13.3.4 Delivery to site
Unless specifically mentioned deliveries to door means curbside at the establishment. It does not include the movement of equipment into the building.
