Amber borosilicate 3.3 glass reagent bottle with a red, GL45, screw cap with PTFE seal. Capacity 1000 mL.
Ideal for storing light sensitive liquids (e.g. hydrogen peroxide/bromine).
The red lids are lined with PTFE and allow expansion inside the bottle, making them suitable for the storage of conc. nitric acid. You don’t need to store concentrated nitric acid in amber bottles, but it does need to be in a bottle with a red PTFE lined lid ( BO180019). Other suitable bottles for conc. nitric acid are BO230030 and BO230040.
