Blowfly Maggots, Approx. 100

Calliphora (or calliphoridae) larvae. Ideal for GCSE biology animal behaviour investigations using a choice chamber or maze. (Spoiler: maggots don't like light!)

White maggots supplied are at the last stage before pupation, meaning we can only guarantee a week before they start to pupate, although they may take longer. Keep refrigerated to slow down the time it takes for the maggot to pupate.

Once you have finished your investigations using the blowflies it is best to kill them by freezing for a few days before disposing of.

During term time maggots are always kept in stock, during school holidays there may be a few days delay. All live specimens are sent first class, we do not ship over the weekend. If you require them to arrive on a particular day please specify when ordering.
