A model showing the Sun, Earth and Moon, correctly geared to show each month as the Earth orbits the Sun. The Sun is represented by bright lamp. It is particularly useful in demonstrating: Sun's apparent motion: changing length and direction of shadows during day and during season; night and day; changing length of days; seasons; phases of the Moon; eclipses of the Moon and Sun.
