Frederiksen Photogate with DIN Connector

This Photogate Unit is specifically designed to be used together with the Student Timer 200260 (the Frederiksen model with the DIN connectors).
The photogate can be used as an optical switch, activated when the light beam is blocked.
It is made from black plastic, with an opening of 90 mm and a depth of 90 mm. Two threaded bushes give the opportunity to mount the unit using the mounting rod, in any position.
The Photogate is supplied with a powerful red transmitter diode and in front of the phototransistor is a 1 mm slit. The unit is suppled with 2 LEDs on the side, red for transmitter and green for receiver.
It can be connected directly to the DIN sockets of the timer, either 1 unit to input A, or 2 units, 1 to input A and 1 to input B.
