Drag & Engrave

This feature allows you to drag the laser head by hand to the desired position to be cut/engraved and then press the start button to commence the job. This shortens set-up times for jobs and makes it easier to maximise the use of your material.

Advanced printer driver

The laser output settings and communication from PC to laser cutter is through a supplied special print driver which means you can use a number of popular design packages to send your designs to the laser cutter including CorelDraw, 2D Design, ProDesktop, Illustrator and more.

Key Switch & Emergency Stop

The key switch prevents any unauthorized use of the machine while the prominent emergency stop button stops the laser and motion carriage immediately.

Intuitive Control Panel Interface

A user-friendly interface makes operation a breeze with hot keys and job status display.

Safety with schools in mind

With safey paramount in an educational environment, as well as the key switch and emergency stop, the laser is fully interlocked meaning the laser won't fire with the lid open. Additionally, the supplied extraction unit interfaces with the laser cutter itself so if you forget to start the extraction, the laser doesn't fire, reducing the risk of a build up of fume.

Grid bed

Safely cut and engrave on the supplied grid bed, helps dissipate heat and smoke from your work.

BOFA AD Oracle iQ extractor

Complete extraction system that safely extracts fume and particulate and re-circulates clean air.

Air compressor (built in to extraction unit)No need for a separate air compressor, the Oracle iQ has one built-in.

Extraction hose connection kit

All of the correct connections and hose to connect the extractor and air assist.

Interface cable for extraction unit

To connect the laser and extractor for safer operation.

We also provide flexible training solutions with onsite installation and training or additional training sessions should you require a 'top-up.'

Extraction

Optimum extraction is a must with a laser cutter to provide a clean, safe working environment and to protect the laser cutter itself. As part of our X252 packages, we supply the highly engineered Oracle iQ filtration system from Bofa which filters the unclean air from the laser cutter and re-circulates clean air into the room.

This prevents the laser cutter from firing if the attached Oracle iQ extractor is not switched on

DeepPleat pre-filter for capturing larger particulate and a highly efficient HEPA filter for smaller particulate

Intelligent operating system

BOFA’s iQ system monitors and controls a range of parameters in real time such as filter status, airflow and temperature to ensure efficient operation

No need for an external compressor, with BOFA’s on-board option, a simple connection to the laser provides a neat air assist.
